System templates

System templates are partial templates – that is, they apply only the specified settings to your current post view, and do not overwrite any other settings. You cannot edit, delete, or rename system templates.

The following system templates are added to the Templates node in the Post Processing Navigator when you set Load System Templates as a customer default.

Template Description
Absolute_Deformation_Scale_One Sets the deformation scale to Absolute, with a scale factor of 1.
Animation_Across_Iterations Sets the Animate option to Iterations, and animates across the full range of load cases, subcases, time steps, or iterations.
Averaging Applies nodal averaging to tensor results.
Banded_Color_Display Sets the Color Display to Banded.
Feature_Edge Changes the primary edge and face display from external element edges to feature edges. This is useful for displaying results on fine meshes, and can improve performance for large models.
Light_Off Disables ambient lighting. This can improve performance for large models.
Modal_Animation_Fullcycle For modal results, sets the animation Style to Modal and specifies Full-cycle animation.
Shell_Location_Maximum For tensor results on 2D meshes, sets the shell location to Maximum.
UnDeformed_Display Turns off model deformation.
Volume_Display Turns on volume display, which displays all faces present in the model.
