Thermal Streams Junction dialog box

Use this dialog box to set options for the Thermal Streams Junction simulation object for the Simcenter 3D Thermal/Flow, Electronic Systems Cooling, and Multiphysics solvers.

Name
Name Sets the name for the thermal streams junction. The name appears in the Simulation Navigator and the graphics window.
Boundary Condition ID Sets a numerical ID, which you can use as an argument in some thermal-flow functions in the CAE expression system. For more information, see Boundary condition ID in expressions.
Description Lets you enter a description of the thermal streams junction.
Destination Folder
Simulation Object Container Specifies the folder in the Simulation Navigator in which the boundary condition is stored. The list includes the root container and existing folders that you created using the New Folder command. Examples of a root container include Load Container, Constraint Container, and Simulation Object Container.
Folder Manager Displays a hierarchical list of existing folders. To create a new folder, right-click any level of the hierarchy and choose New Folder.
Stream Inlets 1-5, Stream Inlets 6-20, Stream Outlets 1-5, and Stream Outlets 6-20
Inlet 1 to Inlet 5 Inlet 6 to Inlet 20 Outlet 1 to Outlet 5 Outlet 6 to Outlet 20 Specify up to 20 thermal stream inlets and outlets each, which belong to the thermal stream junction. In Stream Inlets, you specify streams whose inlet is connected at the junction, and in Stream Outlets, you specify streams whose outlet is connected at the junction. You can select a thermal stream from the list, from the Simulation Navigator, or in the graphics window. You must specify at least two thermal streams to define a junction. After you select a thermal stream, use Edit to modify it.
Create Thermal Stream Opens the Thermal Stream dialog box to create a new thermal stream directly from the current dialog box.For more information, see Thermal Stream dialog box.
More Options Lets you search for a specific thermal stream using sorting and filtering options.Use Less Options to close the searching options.
