Cache Result Types dialog box

Note:

Caching results requires memory. You may need to delete the cache occasionally, depending on the size of the results files that you cache.

Select and Cache Result Type
Result Type	Specifies the type of result to display. Available results depend on the analysis type and the specified output requests.
Filter Iterations	Available when there are multiple load cases, modes, iterations, or time steps.Filters the available results domains for the start and end load case or iteration. For example, if you specify Frequency for the display units, only load cases or iterations in the frequency domain are available.
Start Load Case/Start Iteration	Specifies the first load case and/or iteration in the range.
End Load Case/End Iteration	Specifies the last load case and/or iteration in the range.
Component list	Specifies the result component to display. Available components depend on the type of results.
Skip Steps	Specifies the number of steps to skip in the range. A skip step of 1 includes every iteration between the start and end iteration. A skip step of 2 includes every other iteration, a step size of 3 includes every third iteration, and so on.
Number of Points:	Displays the number of points currently selected, based on the start, end, and number of steps to skip.
Cache Selected Result Type	Caches the selected type of results. The cached result type appears in the selection list in the Manage Cached Result Types group.
Manage Cached Result Types
Selection	Displays a list of types of results cached.You can sort the result types by clicking the column headings.
Delete	Available when at least one type of results is selected in the list.Deletes the cache of the selected type of results.
Information	Available when at least one type of results is selected in the list.Opens the Information window, which displays information about the selected result type.
