Define Advanced Parameters
This example shows how to modify the temperature averaging algorithm for a solution using advanced parameters.
Choose Home tab→Loads and Conditions group→Advanced Controls .
In the Advanced Controls dialog box, select the Advanced Parameter from the Type list.
In the Parameter Definition group, click Catalog .
In the Catalog dialog box, in the Item list, click Thermal→Thermal Output→TEMPERATURE AVERAGING ALGORITHM and then click OK.
In the Advanced Controls dialog box, enter 2 in the Value box and click OK.The value, 2, specifies that the software must perform a weighted temperature averaging algorithm with respect to the element mass. For more information, see Thermal Solver TMG Reference Manual .
Click OK.
