| Reference Solution (Test or Analysis) | |
|---|---|
| When you edit an existing Model Update solution process, you cannot change the selected solution. | |
| Reference Solution list | Lists all existing test and analysis solutions.Select one solution from the list to be the reference solution. This can be either a test solution or an analysis solution. |
| Work Solution (Analysis) | |
| When you edit an existing Model Update solution process, you cannot change the selected solution. | |
| Work Solution list | Lists only Simcenter Nastran SOL 200 Model Update analysis solutions.Select one solution from the list to be the work solution. |
| Subcase Selection | |
| Reference Subcase | Lists all supported subcases of the selected reference analysis solution. |
| Work Subcase | Lists all supported subcases of the selected work solution. |
| Measurement Type | Specifies the modal measurement type.Auto-DetectControls how the software examines the work and reference solutions to find an occurrence of the preferred measurement type.DisplacementSpecifies that the software extracts displacements from the selected subcases.AccelerationSpecifies that the software extracts accelerations from the selected subcases.VelocitySpecifies that the software extracts velocities from the selected subcases.PressureSpecifies that the software extracts pressures from the selected subcases. The order of preference for structural shape correlation is Displacement, Acceleration, and Velocity. A mixed type correlation is possible when the solutions contain different measurement types. Acoustic shapes always use Pressure as a measurement type. |
| Reference Mode Filtering | |
| Exclude Low-Frequency Modes | Excludes modes with a frequency that is below the Cutoff Frequency (Hz) value that you specify; for example, rigid-body modes. These modes are still present in the solution, but they are inactive for mode pairing, correlation, and model updating.Clear this check box if you want to include all low frequency modes. |
| Exclude High-Frequency Modes | Excludes modes with a frequency that is above the Cutoff Frequency (Hz) value that you specify. These modes are still present in the solution, but they are inactive for mode pairing, correlation, and model updating.Clear this check box if you want to use all high frequency modes. |
| Node Map Settings | |
| Matching Tolerance | Sets the matching tolerance value used for node to node pairing between work and reference solutions. |
| Allow Size Reduction | Limits the size of the node map that is created between the work and reference solutions. |
| Size Limit | Available when Allow Size Reduction is selected.Sets the node map size. The final node map size may be smaller that the value specified when:The reference model has fewer nodes than the specified size. The software finds fewer node pairs than the specified size due to the node matching tolerance. |
