Ways to work with results
You work with results in post-processing in the following ways:
Post views
In post views using the Post Processing Navigator and the tools in the Results tab. A post view represents results displayed on the model in the graphics window. It can represent the results using a contour or marker display, and include the result type and data component, cutting plane settings, deformation, and so on. You can also change the color scheme to display results based on mesh or material values.
For more information about post views, see Post views.
For more information about the Post Processing Navigator, see Using the Post Processing Navigator.
Post-processing scenarios
In post-processing scenarios using the Scenario Based Data-Visualization Navigator. Post-processing scenarios are preconfigured views that help you to visualize results. For example, you can display a post-processing scenario as XY plots, color bar plots, color map plots, bar charts, 3D post views, or waterfall plots, depending on the scenario and your needs.

Functions and graphs
As functions and graphs using the XY Function Navigator. You can create XY tabular functions or functions based on mathematical expressions and then plot the functions in an easy-to-use graphing utility. The XY Function Navigator provides an organized view of your table functions, math functions, Simcenter Nastran SORT2 results files, and graphing templates.
For more information, see Simcenter 3D Functions and Graphing.
