Solver Parameters dialog box

Parameter List
Parameter list Filters the list of parameters in the Parameters group.Library ParametersLists the parameters according to the options you select in the Libraries group.Local ParametersLists the parameters that are saved in the Simulation file.
Libraries
Available when Parameter List is set to Library Parameters.
Default Parameter Library Lists the parameter definitions included in the default parameter library.
Site Parameter Library Lists the parameter definitions in the site custom parameter library XML file, which you can choose using the Browse command.
User Parameter Library Lists the parameter definitions in the user custom parameter library XML file, which you can choose using the Browse command.
Parameters
Lists the durability solver parameters. To sort the list, click a column heading. The list has the following columns:NameDisplays the name of the parameter.UsedIndicates if the parameter is used. The parameter is used in the model. The parameter is available in the local file, but it is not used. The parameter is loaded from a site or user parameter library, and has the same name as an existing local parameter.CategoryDisplays the parameter category.TypeDisplays the parameter type.LabelDisplays the parameter label.LocationAvailable for local parameters.Displays the file name of the Simulation file in which the parameter is saved.LibraryDisplays the name of the library file in which the parameter definition is saved. When you right-click an entity, the following commands appear:InformationOpens an Information window that lists the parameter properties.InspectLets you view a parameter record in the corresponding parameter dialog box.CopyCopies the selected parameter and saves it to the Simulation file.EditLets you modify the local parameter properties. You cannot edit the parameter properties of a library parameter, unless you copy the parameter and edit the copy.Configure Library ParameterCurrently, you cannot configure library parameters. RenameLets you rename a local parameter. You cannot rename a library parameter, unless you copy the parameter and rename the copy.Re-labelLets you change the label of the selected local parameter.Show UsagesAvailable for parameters that are used in the model.Opens an Information window that indicates where the selected parameter is used. Update ParameterSynchronizes the selected local parameter with its corresponding library parameter definition. When you load a parameter into the model and later make changes to the corresponding library parameter definition, the loaded, local parameter becomes out of date. This command updates the local parameter with the latest version of its library definition. When you create a parameter by copying another parameter, such as a library definition, and then you change a property in the parent parameter, that property in the copied parameter is not updated automatically. You can use this command to update the copied parameter to match the parent parameter.Load Library ParameterLoads a parameter definition from the parameter library into the local Simulation file. DeleteDeletes the local parameter from the Local Parameters list. You cannot delete a parameter that is used.
New Parameter
Type Lets you select the type of parameter to create.Computation DecompositionSpecifies how the computation of the solution will be split up into computational blocks.Computation SetupSpecifies where computations are performed and where data is transferred to. Library SearchSpecifies the location of a DLL file for a user extension of the solver.
Create Lets you create a new parameter of the Type specified using the Create Parameter command.
