MODMAC Evolution

Use the MODMAC Evolution option to determine:

  • Which candidate DOFs best reduce the off-diagonal MAC values.

  • When the maximum off diagonal MAC limit value is reached.

  • The number of required DOFs to reduce the values of the off-diagonal elements in the MAC matrix.

MODMAC Evolution

This bar chart shows the successively added DOFs along the X-axis and the corresponding MODMAC value after including this DOF along the Y-axis. The X-axis is sorted from the DOFs that best reduce the off-diagonal MAC values to lesser ones. The first DOF represents the maximum off-diagonal MAC of the initial sensors. In the absence of initial sensors, the solver sets it to 1.0.
