Solver Executable

Solver Executable
Use environment variable UGII_SAMCEF Use the UGII_SAMCEF environment variable that selects the solver executable path. Clear this check box if you want to define a User Specified path.
User Specified Appears when the Use environment variable UGII_SAMCEF check box is cleared.Type a path and file name or click Browse to browse to the location.

Solver Memory

Solver memory (in MB)
Use environment variable UGII_SAM_ZONE Use the UGII_SAM_ZONE environment variable that sets the amount of memory used for solving.Clear the check box if you want to define your own Memory value.
Memory Appears when the Use environment variable UGII_SAM_ZONE check box is cleared.Lets you specify the memory value.

Solver Monitor

Solver Monitor
Activate Activate the solver monitor.
Keep open after solving time Lets the solver monitor opened after the solve process.
Parse data Lets the solver monitor parses data.
Stop Solver when error(s) in Bacon Stops the solver monitor when errors are detected in the Bacon preprocessor.

Parallel

Appears for Linear Static Analysis and Nonlinear Analysis solutions.

Parallel
Activate Select this option if you want to enable the Distributed Memory Parallel computation mode (DMP).
These options appear when you select Activate .
Use environment variable UGII_SAM_NPROC Select this option if you want to use the UGII_SAM_NPROC environment variable for the number of processors to use. Clear this check box if you want to manually define the number of processors.
Nb. Processors Available when the Use environment variable UGII_SAM_NPROC check box is cleared.Sets the number of processors to use.
Options Specifies parallel options:all+ioThe generation of elements, the resolution, and the result archive processes are done in parallel.solveThe generation of elements is sequentially done while the resolution is done in parallel.DefaultThe solver chooses the best option.

Multithreading

Appears for Nonlinear Analysis solutions.

Multithreading
Activate Select this option to enable the Shared Memory Parallel computation (SMP) multithreading.
These options appear when you select Activate .
Use environment variable UGII_SAM_NTHREADS Select this option if you want to use the UGII_SAM_NTHREADS environment variable for the number of threads to use. Clear this check box if you want to manually define the number of threads.
Nb. Threads Available when the Use environment variable UGII_SAM_NTHREADS check box is cleared.Sets the number of threads to use.

Samcef User Material

Samcef User Material
User Material Library Path Lets you specify the path the Simcenter Samcef user-defined material .dll file.Type a path and file name or click Browse to browse to the location. For more information, see Simcenter Samcef UMAT workflow.

Command Line

Command Line
The following options add specialized parameters to the Simcenter Samcef launch script.
Verbose Level Lets you specify the verbose level of the messages reporting the state of the computation (SAM_SMGLEVEL option):0 (default)No information.1Low level of printed out information.2Standard level of printed out information.3Middle level of printed out information.4High level of printed out information.5Very high level of printed out information.6Every single information message is printed out. These messages appear in the Simcenter Samcef .res output file and are parsed by the Solver Monitor. For more information, see the Samcef ../../../en_US/samcef_solver_documentation/m001/env-inst-m001.html installation page in the Simcenter Samcef documentation.
User Added Parameters Lets you add specific parameters to the Simcenter Samcef launch script.

Temporary Files

Temporary Files
Keep Temporary Files for Results Recovery and Recombination Lets you keep superelements computation temporary files if you want to compute results and perform a recombination.
