Modeling Object and Properties

Name Sets the name of the modeling object.
Label Sets a unique numerical identifier for the modeling object.
Description Lets you type a brief description or click to open a text editor where you can type a longer description.
Preview Opens an information window where you can examine all current output requests and their options.
Enable All Selects all output requests.
Disable All Clears all output requests.

Results Controls (OUTRES) tab

Enable all (ALL) Selects all result items for output.
Enable only NSOL,RSOL,NLOAD,STRS,FGRAD,FFLUX (BASIC) Outputs the following result items:Nodal DOF solution (NSOL)Nodal reaction loads (RSOL)Element nodal, input constraint, and force loads (NLOAD)Element nodal stresses (STRS)Element nodal gradients strains (FGRAD)Element nodal fluxes (FFLUX)
Enable nodal DOF solution (NSOL) Outputs the nodal DOF solution.
Group and Output Frequency Appears when you select a results item. Lets you create or select an Output Requests Parameters modeling object to define the parameters for the results item, such as how often to output the results. For more information, see Output Requests Parameters dialog box (ANSYS).
Enable nodal reaction loads (RSOL) Outputs the nodal reaction loads.
Enable nodal velocity (V) Outputs the nodal velocity.
Enable nodal acceleration (A) Outputs the nodal acceleration.
Enable element solution (ESOL) Outputs the element solution, including the following:Element nodal, input constraint, and force loads (NLOAD) Element nodal stresses (STRS)Element elastic strains (EPEL) Element thermal, initial, and swelling strains (EPTH) Element plastic strains (EPPL) Element creep strains (EPCR) Element diffusion strains (EPDI) Element nodal gradients (FGRAD)Element nodal fluxes (FFLUX)Integration point locations (LOCI)State variables (SVAR)Element miscellaneous data (MISC)
Enable element nodal, input constraint and force loads (NLOAD) Available when the Enable element solution (ESOL) check box is cleared.Outputs element nodal, input constraint, and force loads.
Enable element nodal stresses (STRS) Available when the Enable element solution (ESOL) check box is cleared.Outputs the element nodal stresses.
Enable element elastic strains (EPEL) Available when the Enable element solution (ESOL) check box is cleared.Outputs the element elastic strains.
Enable element thermal, initial, and swelling strains (EPTH) Available when the Enable element solution (ESOL) check box is cleared.Outputs the element thermal, initial, and swelling strains.
Enable element plastic strains (EPPL) Available when the Enable element solution (ESOL) check box is cleared.Outputs the element plastic strains.
Enable element creep strains (EPCR) Available when the Enable element solution (ESOL) check box is cleared.Outputs the element creep strains.
Enable element diffusion strains (EPDI) Available when the Enable element solution (ESOL) check box is cleared.Outputs the element diffusion strains.
Enable element nodal gradients strains (FGRAD) Available when the Enable element solution (ESOL) check box is cleared.Outputs the element nodal gradients.
Enable element nodal fluxes (FFLUX) Available when the Enable element solution (ESOL) check box is cleared.Outputs the element nodal fluxes.
Enable integration point locations (LOCI) Available when the Enable element solution (ESOL) check box is cleared.Outputs the integration point locations.
Enable state variable (SVAR) Available when the Enable element solution (ESOL) check box is cleared.Outputs the state variables.
Enable integration point locations (MISC) Prints the element miscellaneous data.
Integration Point Results Extrapolation (ERESX) Specifies the extrapolation of integration point results.(DEFA) Extrapolate to nodesIf the element is fully elastic (no active plasticity, creep, or swelling nonlinearities), extrapolates the integration point results to the nodes. If any portion of the element is plastic (or other active material nonlinearity), copies the integration point results to the nodes.(YES) Extrapolate linear portion to nodes and copy nonlinear portionExtrapolates the linear portion of the integration point results to the nodes and copies the nonlinear portion (for example, plastic strains).(NO) Copy integration point results to nodesCopies the integration point results to the nodes. This option corresponds to the ANSYS ERESX command.

Printout Controls (OUTPR) tab

Enable all (ALL) Prints all solution options.
Enable nodal DOF and element solutions (BASIC) Prints the basic quantities (nodal DOF solution, nodal reaction loads, and element solution).
Enable nodal DOF (NSOL) Prints out the nodal DOF solution.
Group and Output Frequency Appears when you select a results item. Lets you create or select an Output Requests Parameters modeling object to define the parameters for the results item, such as how often to output the results. Select an existing modeling object from the list or click Create Modeling Object to create a new one.Click Modify Selected to edit the selected modeling object
Enable nodal reaction loads (RSOL) Prints the nodal reaction loads.
Enable element solution (ESOL) Prints the Element solution.
Enable element nodal loads (NLOAD) Prints the Element nodal loads.
Enable element stabilization force/moment (SFOR) Prints the stabilization force/moment at the applicable nodes.
Enable element energies (VENG) Prints the element energies.
Enable nodal velocity (V) Prints the nodal velocity.
Enable nodal acceleration (A) Prints the nodal acceleration.
Harmonic Real/Imaginary Print Option (HROUT) Prints either the real and imaginary components or the complex.(ON) Print real and imaginary componentsPrint complex displacements as real and imaginary components (default).(OFF) Print complex displacements as amplitude and phase angle in degreesPrint complex displacements as amplitude and phase angle (degrees). This option corresponds to the ANSYS HROUT command.
