Unit Enforced Motion dialog box

Name
Name Sets the name of the Unit Enforced Motion excitation to compute a frequency response function (FRF) using a SOL108 Direct Frequency Response Functions or SOL111 Modal Frequency Response Functions solutions.
Description Sets the description for the enforced motion.
Destination Folder
Load Container Specifies the folder in the Simulation Navigator in which the boundary condition will be stored. The list includes the root container and existing folders that you created using the New Folder command. Examples of a root container include Load Container, Constraint Container, and Simulation Object Container.
Folder Manager Displays a hierarchical list of existing folders. To create a new folder, right-click any level of the hierarchy and choose New Folder.
Model Objects
Group Reference Lets you apply the unit enforced motion to a group.Select the group from the list, or click New Group .
Select Object Lets you select the geometry or FE entities on which the load will be applied.ExcludedLets you remove individual FE entities from within the selected object.
Stacked Smart Selector Methods Opens the Smart Selector Methods dialog box where you can specify a progression of smart selection filters. For more information, see Smart Selector Methods dialog box.
Enforced Motion Type
Type Specifies the type of load to apply to FE entities.
Do not export companion constraints (SPC1) Controls the export of the companion constraints. When the Do not export companion constraints (SPC1) check box is cleared, the software creates companion SPC1 bulk data entries for each SPCD bulk data entry. When the Do not export companion constraints (SPC1) check box is selected, the software does not create companion SPC1 bulk data entries. You can use this option with Simcenter Nastran dynamic solutions that have different enforced motion loads in each subcase and the direction of these loads changes from one subcase to the next. Because you cannot change the constraints from one subcase to the next in SOLs 108, 109, 111, and 112, you would not want the software to export a companion constraint to each subcase. Instead, you can define the companion constraints globally (for all subcases), for example, by using the User Defined Constraint command.
DOF1 through DOF6 Sets DOFs as Not Excited or Excited.DOF1 to DOF3 are for translation in the X, Y, and Z direction.DOF4 to DOF6 are for rotation in the X, Y, and Z direction. Not Excited Allows no excitation in the DOF.Excited Allows excitation in the DOF.
No DOFs Excited Sets all DOF as Not Excited.
All DOFs Excited Sets all DOF as Excited.
