Condensation algorithms for a dynamic superelement (Simcenter Samcef)
When you create a dynamic superelement, you can choose the following condensation algorithms:
Hintz
Hintz component mode algorithm.Note: You must choose the Hintz algorithm if you have defined Free Boundary Degrees of Freedom constraints in your model.
Craig and Bampton
Craig and Bampton component mode algorithm.Note: You can only choose the Craig and Bampton algorithm if you have not defined Free Boundary Degrees of Freedom constraints in your model.
Guyan
Standard Guyan algorithm.
For the Craig and Bampton and Hintz algorithms, you can also select the following options:
Base
Components modes base saving. The *_dy.u18 creation file is split into:A smaller *_dy.u18 file that contains only the reduced matrices to be used at the utilization stage.Combined with the Create Reduced Superelement File of the Output page that creates a small database, you can easily share your creation model with another user without exposing the entire initial model. You can also transfer files of limited sizes. For additional information, see Reduced superelement database (Simcenter Samcef).A smaller *_30_dy.u18 file that contains only the component modes for the recovery stage.
Constraint
Constraint modes restitution.
Base Constraint
Enable both options above.
