Defining physical properties

Pre/Post provides flexibility in the way that you define physical properties. There are several basic workflows:

  • Edit a mesh collector. From the Mesh Collector dialog box, create the physical properties.

  • Create physical properties using the Physical Properties Table Manager. Assign the physical property table to a mesh collector or element-associated data.

  • In the FEM file, define the physical properties for the mesh collector. Then, in the Simulation file, define alternate physical properties as overrides.
