Update a cutting plane display in real time

Updating the cutting plane is especially useful for creating a dynamic cross section display.

Tip:

You can also access the cutting plane options using the Edit Post View command. The Edit Post View command is available when you set the color display to contour plot.

1. Choose Results tab→Display group→Cutting Plane Options .

2. Select the Show Preview check box. While this option is selected, any changes you make to the cutting plane definition are applied interactively.

3. Change the cutting plane. For example, drag the slider to sweep the cutting plane through the model interactively.

4. Click OK.
