Monitor Point - Element Monitor dialog box (Simcenter Nastran)

This modeling object lets you request output of specific element stress, strain, or force components to the .f06 file. It corresponds to the MONPNT2 bulk entry.

Modeling Object
Name	Sets the name of the modeling object.
Label	Sets a unique numerical identifier for the modeling object.
Properties
Description	Lets you enter a brief description. Click to open a text editor where you can enter a longer description.
Card Name	Displays the name of the Simcenter Nastran bulk entry.
Name	Sets a unique name for the monitor point. You can search on this name in the .f06 file.
Label	Sets a label for the monitor point. You can search on this label in the .f06 file.Allows you to enter additional information to identify the monitor point.
Output Type	Specifies the type of component to be output.
Element Dimension	Specifies the element category of the component for which you want the monitor data to be retrieved.
Element Type	Specifies the element type for which you want the monitor data to be retrieved.For a list of supported element types, see the Element Name Code column in the Force monitor table and Stress monitor table for MONPNT2 in the Simcenter Nastran Quick Reference Guide.
Component Name	Specifies the component of the Element Type for which you want the monitor data to be retrieved.For a list of supported component names, see the NDDL entity columns in the Force monitor table and Stress monitor table for MONPNT2 in the Simcenter Nastran Quick Reference Guide.
Select Element	Lets you select the element for which you want the component results.Note: You can select only one element.
