Frequency Excitation Set dialog box (Nastran)
| Type | |
|---|---|
| Type | Specifies the type of static load sets that you can add to the set.Applied Load Accepts an applied load type of static load set.Enforced Displacement Accepts an enforced motion type of static load set, and defines the motion as a displacement.Enforced Velocity Accepts an enforced motion type of static load set, and defines the motion as a velocity.Enforced Acceleration Accepts an enforced motion type of static load set, and defines the motion as acceleration.Enforced Acoustic Pressure Accepts an enforced acoustic pressure type of static load set, and defines the variation as an acoustic pressure. |
| Name | |
| Name | Specifies the displayed name for the load set. |
| Label | Sets the value that will be assigned as the set ID (SID) for the set and all of the loads contained by the set. |
| Description | Lets you enter a description for the load set.You can also Cut , Copy , and Paste text. |
| Load Set | |
| Automatic Creation | Controls how to add a static load set to a Frequency Excitation Set.Automatic Creation Creates an empty Load Set (General) and adds it to the Frequency Excitation Set.Automatic Creation Lets you choose a static load set from the list or None to create your own, empty Load Set (General). You can name it and enter a description text. |
| Property | |
| Velocity Time Unit | Available when Type is set to Enforced Velocity.Specifies the units of time used in defining the velocity. |
| Acceleration Time Unit | Available when Type is set to Enforced Acceleration.Specifies the units of time used in defining the acceleration. |
| Excitation | |
| Excitation Field | Specifies how the excitation is defined. The options include: Real/ImaginaryLets you define the excitation as a complex number with real and imaginary components.Magnitude/PhaseLets you define the excitation as a complex number with magnitude and phase angle.FieldLets you define the excitation from a field. |
| Real | Available when Excitation Field is set to Real/Imaginary.Sets the real component of the magnitude of the excitation. |
| Imaginary | Available when Excitation Field is set to Real/Imaginary.Sets the imaginary component of the magnitude of the excitation. |
| Magnitude | Available when Excitation Field is set to Magnitude/Phase.Sets the magnitude of the excitation. |
| Phase | Available when Excitation Field is set to Magnitude/Phase.Sets the phase angle of the excitation. |
| Specify Field | Available only when Excitation Field is set to Field.Lets you select or define a field. |
| Delay/Phase | |
| Delay | Specifies how you define the delay.ExpressionLets you enter a value or expression for the delay time.Dynamic Load Time DelayLets you create or select a Dynamic Load Time Delay modeling object. |
| Phase | Specifies how you define the phase lead.ExpressionLets you enter a value or expression for the angle of phase lead.Dynamic Load Phase LeadLets you create or select a Dynamic Load Phase Lead modeling object. |
