Post-processing > Post processing models with superelements
Plotting superelements in multiple load case results (Simcenter Samcef)
You can recover a superelement for a subset (2) of all the load cases that you select when you solve the global model (1).
If you display a residual result for a load case, and that the same result also exists in the recovered superelement for the same load case, the Plot with Loaded Super Elements option will appear when you right-click that residual result,
and you can display that result both on the FE model and on the superelement:
Plot with Loaded Super Elements for a result that exists in the FE model and in the recovered superelement
If the residual result does not exist as a result of the recovered superelement, or exists in the recovered superelement but not for the load case that you choose for the residual result, the Plot with Loaded Super Elements option will not appear when you right-click that result.
The Plot command will display the result on the main FE model and the superelement with its Simplified Representation in its deformed shape but with no results contour:
Plot with Loaded Super Elements for a result that exists in the FE model but not in the recovered superelement
