PFAST dialog box (Nastran)
| Physical Property Table | |

| Name | Defines the name of the physical property table. |
| Label | Defines the unique numeric identifier for the physical property table. |

| Diameter | Lets you specify the diameter of the virtual connector. This diameter is used to determine the connectivity of the associated CFAST elements on the patches (nodes GHA1-GHA4 on patch A and GHB1-GHB4 on patch B) used to create the connection.For more information, see CFAST or PFAST in the Simcenter Nastran Quick Reference Guide. |
| Material Orientation****MCID Definition | Lets you specify the material coordinate system in which Nastran applies the translational and rotational stiffness values. Nastran uses the settings for the MCID Definition and MFLAG options to determine the coordinates for the CFAST element and the directions in which the stiffness values are applied.Select Default to have Nastran ignore the MFLAG option. The CFAST element’s x-axis is defined from GA to GB. For more information, see Remark 1 for PFAST in the Simcenter Nastran Quick Reference Guide.Select Cartesian, Cylindrical, or Spherical to select a Cartesian, cylindrical, or spherical coordinate system as the material coordinate system.Click CSYS Dialog to select or create a coordinate system. |
| MFLAG | Sets the type for the material coordinate system.Select Relative to specify a relative material coordinate system.Select Absolute to specify an absolute material coordinate system.For more information, see Remark 1 for PFAST in the Simcenter Nastran Quick Reference Guide. |
| KT1, KT2, KT3 | Lets you specify the translational stiffness values in the x, y, and z directions. |
| KR1, KR2, KR3 | Lets you specify the rotational stiffness values in the x, y, and z directions. |
| Weld Mass | Lets you specify the mass of the connector. |
| Structural Damping | Lets you define the structural damping value to apply to the connector. |
