Simple Distance dialog box
| Start Node | |

| Method | Specifies the method to use to select the starting node from which you are measuring.By Node IDSpecify the ID of the node. Pick from ModelGraphically select a node in the post view. |
| Select Node | Appears when Method is set to Pick from Model.Lets you select the node in the post view to measure from. The node must be displayed in the post view and not hidden, such as clipped from the view by a cutting plane. |
| Node Label | Appears when Method is set to By Node ID.Specifies the ID for the node to select. Type a node number and click Apply ID String . |
| Use Displayed Deformed Coordinates (1.00 Absolute) | Uses the deformed value of the node in the measurement calculation. |
| End Node | |
| Method | Specifies the method to use to select the ending node to which you are measuring.By Node IDSpecify the ID of the node. Pick from ModelGraphically select a node in the post view. |

| Use Displayed Deformed Coordinates (1.00 Absolute) | Uses the deformed value of the node in the measurement calculation, where the percentage represents the scale factor specified in the Edit Post View dialog box. For a 1:1 measurement, a scale factor of 1 Absolute should be specified. |
| List Information | Opens an Information window that lists the coordinates of the measurement nodes. |
