Response Dynamics
Clear the obsolete status of a Response Dynamics solution process
In the Simulation Navigator, right-click the obsolete Response Dynamics solution process and choose Check Obsolete Status. If the date of the modal solution results file is newer than the date of the solution process, but the modes, frequencies, stiffnesses, effective masses, and degrees of freedom are unchanged, the following message appears: The modal shape file is consistent with the current modal parameters and the Response Simulation can be used for evaluations. If the solution process is obsolete because you changed something in the model, for example, the mesh density, a boundary condition, or the number of desired modes, and you re-solved the modal solution, the following message appears: The modal shape file is not consistent with the previous definition. To clear the obsolete status in this case, the Allow Override of Obsolete Status customer default must be selected.
Click OK to clear the obsolete status.
If the solution process contains results, the event and the modal settings are locked. You cannot add, edit, or delete the excitations for the event. However, you can use the Unlock Modal Settings command to change the modal settings.
