Positioning the FEM within a Simulation file

Moving the FEM

You can use the standard Assemblies Move Component command to position the FEM or assembly FEM within a Simulation file.

  • Right-click the FEM in the Simulation Navigator and choose Move Component.

  • Choose Assemblies tab→Position group→Move Component .

Returning the FEM to the original position

If the FEM has been repositioned within the Simulation file, you can use the Move Component to Global command to return the FEM to its designed position. To do so, right-click the FEM in the Simulation Navigator and choose Move Component to Global.
