| These options are available only for laminate physical properties. | ||||
| Ply Failure Theory | Available when Ply Failure Theory in the Laminate Properties group is set to User Defined.Specifies one of your ply failure theories. You can select any user defined failure theory that is set to ply in the stored XML file. Use the User Defined Failure Theory XML Config File customer default to specify the XML file. | |||
| Interlaminar Failure Theory | Available when Interlaminar Failure Theory in the Laminate Properties group is set to User Defined.Specifies one of your interlaminar failure theories. | Reverse Stacking Sequence | Reverses the stacking sequence of the layups. You can reverse the plies and their global ply IDs, or reverse only the plies but keep the original ply ID sequence.Reverse Plies and Global Ply IDs****Reverse Plies Only | Reverse Plies and Global Ply IDs | Reverse Plies Only | |

| Ply ID | ||||
| Ply Relabel Options | Specifies whether you want to relabel ply IDs.NoneKeeps the existing ply IDs.Label and IncrementRelabels the existing ply IDs starting with the given start label and increments each subsequent ply ID by the increment value. All modified laminate physical properties will have the same ply IDs in all solver environments except in Samcef. In the Samcef environment, ply IDs must be unique across all laminate physical properties. You set the values in the Start Label and Increment boxes.Example: Suppose you have two laminate physical properties: lam1 with four plies and lam2 with three plies. Suppose you relabel the ply IDs for these laminate properties using 10 as the Start Label and 5 as the Increment. The software relabels them as follows:In all solver environments except Samcef, lam1 will have ply IDs: 10, 15, 20, and 25 and lam2 will have ply IDs: 10, 15, and 20.In the Samcef solver environment, lam1 will have ply IDs: 10, 15, 20, and 25 and lam2 will have ply IDs: 30, 35, and 40.Note: Because symmetric and repeated plies need to have consecutive ply IDs, in these cases, you must make 1 the increment value.OffsetRelabels the existing ply IDs by offsetting their old value with the specified offset. You specify the offset value in the Offset box. |
