Harmonics Set dialog box

Use this dialog box to create the Harmonics Set modeling object.

At the solution level, for SOLs 402 and 414, you can select this set in other dialog boxes to:

  • Request the harmonic numbers of harmonic behavior from Fourier elements for a solution.

  • Remove the harmonic numbers that you do not want to evaluate for specific types of subcases.

At the subcase level, for SOL 402 Subcase - Cyclic Modes and Subcase – Fourier Axisymmetric Modes, you can select this set to define the harmonics to compute and to define the harmonics to output.

Modeling Object
Name Sets the name of the Harmonics Set modeling object. This name appears in the Modeling Objects Manager dialog box and in the lists of harmonic sets in the Solution, Harmonics to Constrain (SOL 402), and Harmonics to Fix (SOL 414) dialog boxes.
Label Sets the value that is assigned as the ID for this modeling object. The label must be a unique integer.
Properties
Description Sets a description for this modeling object.Click Description to open the Description dialog box where you can more easily enter a longer description
Harmonics Lets you specify the harmonic numbers to include in the set.You can use Cut , Copy , and Paste commands to copy and paste harmonic numbers. You can change the display of the list as follows:To collapse the list into consecutive ranges, click Collapse .For example, click Collapse to display 0,1,2,3,4,9,11,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20 as 0-4,9,11,13-20.To expand the ranges to individual numbers, click Expand .
