Display correlation metrics as 2D matrix plots
Make sure you have an active correlation solution with work and reference modes.
Display modal assurance criteria (MAC) results
Choose Correlation tab→Correlation group→Plot MAC .
In the Viewport dialog box, do one of the following:To plot the 2D matrix plot in the main graphics window, click Select Viewport by Cursor , and then click in the graphics window.To plot the 2D matrix plot in a separate graphics window, click Create New Window .
(Optional) Modify the matrix display. For more information, see Edit 2D matrix plot display.
Display cross-orthogonality (X-Ortho) results
Cross-orthogonality results are only available if the work solution contains a reduced mass matrix.
Choose Correlation tab→Correlation group→Plot X-Ortho .
In the Viewport dialog box, do one of the following:To plot the 2D matrix plot in the main graphics window, click Select Viewport by Cursor , and then click in the graphics window.To plot the 2D matrix plot in a separate graphics window, click Create New Window .
(Optional) Modify the matrix display. For more information, see Edit 2D matrix plot display.
Display COMAC or MSF results
Right-click the Mode Correlation Metrics node and select Correlate Modes.
From the Correlate dialog box, from the Method list, select COMAC or MSF.You can also select MAC. This is another way to display MAC results.
Click Show Matrix to open the Viewport selection tool so that you can select where you want to display the matrix with correlation metric results.
