Woven ply material in laminates zones (Simcenter Samcef)
When you use the Laminate Modeler to create a Ply Material of the Woven type, or you use an Orthotropic material that is enhanced with the Advanced_Woven.udmpx external file, you can improve your layup model by selecting the Account for Woven Fiber Shear option in the material dialog box. In a zone in which a ply exhibits non-orthogonal yarn angle, the Simcenter 3D Laminate Composites software computes an equivalent anisotropic material and properties for that ply.
The Account for Woven Fiber Shear option modifies the material properties of the ply and the thickness and/or the fiber orientation of that ply. For more information on the Account for Woven Fiber Shear option, see Woven ply material.

When you use the Account for Woven Fiber Shear option, the Simcenter Samcef input file contains data as follows:

In this example, for each Woven1 material, the software generated an anisotropic material per zone.
The 80 or 100 value in the name of the created anisotropic material is the yarn angle computed for the zone to which the material belongs. The computed value is rounded according to the Zone Angle Tolerance option of the Woven material dialog box.
