Activate or deactivate a sensor DOF

You can enable or disable the same degree of freedom (DOF) for one or more selected sensors. This example shows you how to enable or disable the y translational degree of freedom for multiple sensors at the same time.

  1. Right-click the Copy of Initial Sensors [#] node, and click Edit. The Sensor Set dialog box opens. Notice that Edit in Place is set to Cells.

  2. From the sensor set list, select the sensor and click in the DOF2 cell to modify its status.

  3. Select to disable DOF2. You can activate each one by selecting .

  4. Click OK.

Reverse the direction of a sensor DOF

This example shows you how to change the direction of the z translational degree of freedom from positive to negative for sensor 2.

  1. Right-click the Copy of Initial Sensors [#] node, and click Edit. The Sensor Set dialog box opens.

  2. From the sensor set list, select sensor 2 and click in the DOF3 cell.

  3. Select to reverse the direction of the DOF3.

  4. Click OK.
