Element Rotate dialog box

| Element Rotate | Lets you rotate the selected elements through an arc. |
| Element Copy and Rotate | Lets you create one or more copies of the selected set of elements and rotate them through an arc. |
| Element Type | |
| Element Type | Controls the part of the element the software copies and rotates.Any Element rotates or copies and rotates any combination of selected element edges, faces, and solid elements.Element Edges rotates or copies and rotates the selected element edges.Element Faces rotates or copies and rotates selected element faces.Solid Elements Only rotates or copies and rotates solid (3D) elements.Note: You must select 3D elements of the same type and order. |

| Select Element | Lets you select the elements to rotate. |
| Element Labels | Lets you add elements to the selection.Use a space or comma to separate your entries.Use a colon or a dash to add a range of element labels.For example, enter 1:10 or 1-10 to add all the element labels from 1 to 10.Use colons to add an incremented range of element labels.For example, enter:1:9:2 to add element labels 1, 3, 5, 7, 9.1:10:2 to add element labels 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 10.10:1:-2 to add element labels 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1.Press Enter or click Select to add your entries.To edit your selection, click Edit Element Selection . |
| Number of Copies | |
| Specify Number | Available when Type is set to Element Copy and Rotate.Specifies the number of copies to create from the selected set of elements. |
| Axis of Rotation | |
| Specify Vector | Lets you specify a vector that defines the axis about which to rotate the elements. See Vector dialog box for more information. |
| Reverse Direction | Reverses the vector's direction. |
| Specify Point | Lets you select the point about which to rotate the elements. See Point dialog box for more information. |
| Rotation Angle | |
| Copy Option | Appears if you select Copy and Rotate from the Type menu. Specifies how the software should rotate the elements.Choose Per Copy to rotate each individual copy of the elements by the specified angle.Choose Total to rotate all elements in all copies a total of the specified angle. |
| Angle | Specifies the angle about which to rotate the elements. |
| Label | |
| Label Options | Lets you specify the method to use to define element labels.Choose Label/Increment to specify the starting label to use for the new elements and the increment between subsequent labels.Choose Offset to offset the starting label to use for the new elements by a specified value. |
| Label | Lets you specify the starting label for the new elements. |
| Increment | Lets you specify the increment the software should use for each successive element label. |
| Offset | Lets you specify a value by which to offset the starting label for the new elements from the current highest element label. |
