Thermal solution steps (Simcenter Samcef)

In a thermal Heat Transfer solution, you can define several solution steps and their related properties.

You can define the solution step as Steady-State or Kinematic. In the Solution Step dialog box:

  • In the Time page, you can define parameters related to the time computation strategy, such as time interval.

  • In the Storage page, you can control the storage frequency of results.

  • In the Solver Parameters page, you can define parameters related to the solver strategy, such as the check thresholds or iteration control options.

  • In the User page, you can manually define parameters for the .SUBCASE Samcef command.Note: The added text must be compliant with the Simcenter Samcef command language terminology. For more information, see the Simcenter Samcef documentation.
