Create a Joint modeling object
Choose Home tab→Loads and Conditions group→Modeling Objects , then in the Modeling Objects Manager dialog box, select Joint and click Create.
In the Joint dialog box, select Rotational or Translational from the Type list.
Enter the rate of the movement, you can use a constant value or define time dependent field. For a Rotational joint, type an angular rate value in the Rotation Rate. For a Translational joint, type a velocity value in the Translation Speed box.
Define the direction for the movement:For a Rotational joint, specify a vector and a point to define the Rotation Axis. For a Translational joint, specify a vector to define the direction of translation.
(Optional) To create a compound movement, select a parent joint by selecting it from the Select Joint list, or creating a new parent joint by clicking Open Manager .
Click OK.
