Samcef environment

Advanced filtering exported groups for post-processing (Simcenter Samcef)

By default, the Simcenter Samcef environment creates Samcef groups in the Simcenter Samcef input file with an @SC@ prefix in each group name.

This helps you to differentiate between the groups created during the export, and the groups that can be added to the model when importing results.

You can change this prefix by setting the UGII_SAMCEF_AUTOMATICGROUPPREFIX environment variable in the ..\ugii\ugii_env.dat file.

Note:

You can also use environment variables to filter results in the Post Processing Navigator. For more information, see Advanced results filtering for post-processing (Simcenter Samcef).
