Output Requests Parameters dialog box (ANSYS)

The options in the dialog box correspond to the Cname and Freq parameters for the ANSYS OUTRES command. For more information, see the ANSYS Commands Reference.

Name	Sets a unique name for the modeling object.
Label	Sets a unique numerical identifier for the modeling object.
Properties
Description	Sets a brief description of the property. Click to open a text editor where you can type a longer description.
Group Definition (Cname)
Apply to all Elements or Nodes	Outputs the solution results item for all elements or nodes.
Group Reference	Available when the Apply to all Elements or Nodes check box is cleared. Lets you select an existing group from the list, or click New Group to create, manage, or select element or node sets.For more information, see Group Reference options.
Select Elements or Nodes	Available when the Apply to all Elements or Nodes check box is cleared. Lets you select the set of nodes or elements to which the solution results item applies. The component named must be of the same type as the results item (nodal or element).
Solutions Output Frequency (Freq)
How Often the Solution Results are Written	Specifies at which substeps to write the specified solution results item.NONESuppresses writing of the results item for all substeps.ALLWrites the solution of the specified solution results item for every substep. LASTWrites the specified solution results item only for the last substep of each load step. Specify valueWrites the specified results item every nth (and the last) substep of each load step.Use time tableSpecifies an array parameter defining the number of key times the software writes the data for the specified solution results items.
Frequency Value	Available when How Often the Solution Results are Written is set to Specify value. Specifies that the software write the solution results item every nth (and the last) substep of each load step.
Array of Key Times (OUTRES,,%Freq%)	Available when How Often the Solution Results are Written is set to Use time table. Lets you specify the appropriate Transient Time Table modeling object that defines an array of key times at which the specified solution results items are written.Select an existing modeling object from the list or click Create Modeling Object to create a new one.Click Modify Selected to edit the selected modeling objectFor more information, see Transient Time Table (TSRES) dialog box (ANSYS).
