Physical Contact Parameters dialog box

Name Description
Name Defines the name of the modeling object.
Label Specifies a unique numerical identifier for the modeling object.

Contact Heat Transfer HCT field in the BCONPRP bulk data entry.Defines the contact heat transfer coefficient.

Thermal Glue HGLUE field in the BCONPRP bulk data entry.Controls how the software handles thermal contact conditions.Select Convective Heat Transfer to have the software treat thermal contact by convective heat transfer between the bodies.Select No Convective Heat Transfer to tie the temperature fields of the bodies as soon as they come into contact. There is no convective heat transfer over the body interfaces.
