Editing and configuring material definition in a custom library
You can make changes to a material definition in a custom library by using the Edit Library Material(s) command in the Material Library Manager dialog box.
The Material dialog box that the Edit Library Material(s) command opens lets you edit material property types, material values, and decide whether the property is configurable by your users.
For more detailed information, see Edit a material definition in a custom library.
When you make properties configurable, users can use the Configure Library Material command in the Manage Materials dialog box to modify the configurable material properties without having to copy the material first. You can also use the command to inspect non-configurable properties.
For more detailed information, see Define configurable material properties (site MatML Library owner) and Modify configurable material properties (end user).
