Create a perfect contact thermal coupling

  1. Choose Home tab→Loads and Conditions group→Thermal Coupling .

  2. In the Thermal Coupling dialog box, select Perfect Contact from the Type list.

  3. Select a Primary Region to represent one of the two perfect contact surfaces. Typically this would be the smaller surface of the two.

  4. Select a Secondary Region to represent the other surface.

  5. Select the Overlap Projection Direction, or clear the Only Connect Overlapping Elements check box if your geometry requires it.
