Durability solution process

Use the Durability command to create the Durability solution process. The Durability solution process helps you to validate the integrity of your structural finite element model over its entire life cycle.

The Durability solution process contains one or more static, transient, and random events. The events reference:

• The structural analysis solution from which they get the stress or strain results.

• The durability objects that contain the durability solver settings.

You can solve for the durability results separately for each event and cumulatively for all active events in the Durability solution process.

Application	Pre/Post
Prerequisite	A structural solution with stress or strain results
Simulation Navigator	Right-click the simulation node→New Solution Process→Durability
Command Finder	New Durability Simulation
Menu	Insert→Durability→Simulation
