Laminate Ply Material dialog box — Particulate type
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | Specifies a name for the laminate ply material. |
| Label | Specifies a label for the laminate ply material. |
| Basic Information | |
| Matrix Material | Sets the material for the matrix. |
| Matrix Volume Fraction | Specifies a value for the volume fraction of the matrix in the ply material. The sum of the values of the Matrix Volume Fraction and the Fiber Volume Fraction must be less than or equal to one. |
| Particle Material | Sets the material for the particles. |
| Particle Volume Fraction | Specifies a value for the volume fraction of the particles in the ply material. The sum of the values of the Matrix Volume Fraction and the Particle Volume Fraction must be less than or equal to one. |

| Tsai Wu Interaction | Specifies the value for the Tsai Wu interaction coefficient used in the Tsai Wu failure theory. See Tsai-Wu failure analysis (2D) for more information. |
