Contact and glue overview (Simcenter Nastran, Simcenter 3D Multiphysics)

In the Simcenter Nastran or Simcenter 3D Multiphysics environment, when you include contact or glue conditions in your solution, you can use several different types of modeling objects to define options to control those conditions.

  • Contact Parameters (BCTPARM bulk entry for SOL 101, SOL 103, SOL 111, SOL 112, and SOL 401; BCTPAR2 bulk entry for SOL 402; BCTPARA bulk entry for SOL 601 and SOL 701)

  • Glue Parameters (BGPARM bulk entry)

Once you create a modeling object, you can reference that modeling object from any applicable solution.
