Algorithm
Select Algorithm Specifies the algorithm used in the sensor selection.Min-MACMinimizes the values of the off-diagonal elements in the MAC matrix by adding specified numbers of uniaxial and/or triaxial sensors from a candidate set to a required set of DOFs.MODMACReduces the values of the off-diagonal elements in the MAC matrix to a specified limit by adding a maximum number of candidate DOFs to an optional, initial set of DOFs.
Settings
Number of Uniaxial Sensors Appears when Select Algorithm is set to Min-MAC.Displays the number of uniaxial sensors contained in the selected sensor configuration. A node can have up to three uniaxial sensors.
Number of Triaxial Sensors Appears when Select Algorithm is set to Min-MAC.Displays the number of triaxial sensors contained in the selected sensor configuration. A node can have only one triaxial sensor.
Maximum Number of DOFs Appears when Select Algorithm is set to MODMAC.Sets the maximum number of possible DOFs from the combination of initial and candidate DOFs.
MAC Value Limit Appears when Select Algorithm is set to MODMAC.Sets the limit value for the maximum off diagonal elements in the MAC matrix.
Sensor Type Appears when Select Algorithm is set to MODMAC.Specifies the sensor type.UniaxialIndicates that the sensor has one active translational DOF.TriaxialIndicates that the sensor has three active translational DOFs.
Name Sets the name of the sensor configuration.
