Solution Step dialog box (Ray Acoustics)

| Name | Specifies the name of the solution step. |
| Solver TypeAnalysis TypeSolution | For your reference, these options display the selected solver, analysis type, and solution type for the solution for which you are creating the step. |
| Step | Specifies the solution step type, based on the solution type for this solution. |
| Steps to Create | For your reference, sets the number of steps to create. |
| Properties | |
| Description | Opens an editor that lets you enter a description for the solution step. |
| Frequency Definition | |
| Forcing Frequencies | Specifies the forcing frequencies for the solution step.Click Create Forcing Frequencies to open the Modeling Objects Manager dialog box where you can create the forcing frequencies.For more information, see Define forcing frequencies (Acoustics BEM). |
| Physical Solver Parameters | |
| Physical Solver Parameters | Specifies the physical solver parameters for the solution step.Select existing physical solver modeling parameters from the list or click Create Modeling Object to create new physical solver modeling parameters.Click Edit to edit the selected physical solver modeling parameters.For more information, see Physical Solver Parameters dialog box. |
| Particle tracing | |
| Enable Particle Tracing | Activates particle tracing and hybridization of results for the solution step. |
| Particle Solver Parameters | Appears when Enable Particle Tracing is selected.Specifies the particle solver parameters for the solution step.Select existing particle solver modeling parameters from the list or click Create Modeling Object to create new physical solver modeling parameters.Click Edit to edit the selected physical solver modeling parameters. |
| Wide Bands | Appears when Enable Particle Tracing is selected.Specifies the bands for calculating and outputting particle tracing results.Select existing particle solver modeling parameters from the list or click Create Modeling Object to create new physical solver modeling parameters.Click Edit to edit the selected physical solver modeling parameters. |
