Ply export options
When you graphically post process laminate results, you can export the ply results using either the global ply ID or the ply order in the layup. You set the Ply Export Option list in the Graphical Report dialog box.
Example:
The following structural model has two regions. Both regions are draped with 4 plies.
| Region | Graphical representation | Ply order in the layup with the global ply ID |
|---|---|---|
| Region 1 | ||
| Region 2 |
Graphical Report — Global Ply ID is created with Ply Export Option set to Ply Global Id and Graphical Report — Ply ID is created with Ply Export Option set to Ply ID. Notice that there is one result set for each global ply under the Graphical Report — Global Ply ID node in the Post Processing Navigator.
