In the Simcenter Samcef post-processing scenarios, you can display the following results:

Note:

You must enable these results in the Output Requests with Location set to All, Type set to All, and Entity set to Structure.

Filtering results by components and criteria

Interlaminar Stress by Cohesive Layer Component: YZ, ZX, ZZ.Criteria: Max, Min.
Ply Stress Component: 11, 12, 22, 23, 31, 33.Criteria: Max, Min.
Ply Strain Component: 11, 12, 22, 23, 31, 33.Criteria: Max, Min.
Ply Damage Value Component: V-1, V-2, V-3, V-4, V-5, V-6.Criteria: Max.Note: The meaning of the Component V-x depends on the material associated to the ply. For more details, see Damage tensor output requests (Simcenter Samcef).
Cohesive Damage Value N/A
Number of Damaged Elements by Ply Criteria: Max Damage Component > 0.0, Max Damage Component > 0.5, Max Damage Component > 0.9.
Number of Damaged Elements by Cohesive Layer Criteria: Max Damage Component > 0.0, Max Damage Component > 0.5, Max Damage Component > 0.9.
Number of Damaged Elements N/A
Number of Plasticized Elements N/A

Group or ply-based results filter

Depending of the type of results, you can filter them by:

  • PlyThe following results are ply-based: Ply Stress, Ply Strain, Ply Damage Value, Number of Damaged Elements by Ply.

  • Group. Group means every .SEL group of elements that exists in the Simcenter Samcef model and for which the selected result is found.The following results are .SEL group-based: Interlaminar Stress by Cohesive Layer, Cohesive Damage Value, Number of Damaged Elements by Cohesive Layer.

Note:

Other results are global to the structure.
