Create an Interface Resistance

Create a Surface Interface type of Interface Resistance

  1. Choose Home tab→Loads and Conditions group→Interface Resistance .

  2. In the Interface Resistance dialog box, select Surface Interface Resistance from the list in the Type group.

  3. Select the common face or 2D elements representing the resistance.

  4. Select a Type option and enter its value in the Value box.

  5. Click OK.

Create an Edge Interface type of Interface Resistance

  1. Choose Home tab→Loads and Conditions group→Interface Resistance .

  2. In the Interface Resistance dialog box, select Edge Interface from the list in the Type group.

  3. Select the common edge or 2D elements representing the resistance.

  4. Select a Type option and enter its value in the Value box.

  5. Click OK.

Create an Interface Between 2 Sets type of Interface Resistance

  1. Choose Home tab→Loads and Conditions group→Interface Resistance .

  2. In the Interface Resistance dialog box, select Edge Interface from the list in the Type group.

  3. Select the polygon edge or face (or the associated elements) to define the primary region.

  4. Select the polygon edge or face (or the associated elements) to define the secondary region.

  5. Select a Type option and enter its value in the Value box.

  6. Click OK.
