| Solution | |
|---|---|
| Name | Specifies the name of the solution step. |
| Solver TypeAnalysis TypeSolution | For your reference, these options display the selected solver, analysis type, and solution type for the solution for which you are creating the step. |
| Step | Specifies the solution step type, based on the solution type for this solution. |
| Steps to Create | Sets the number of steps to create. |
| Relative Position | Specifies the position of this step as it will appear in the Simulation Navigator relative to the other steps in this solution and the sequence in which it will be processed during the solve. |
| Properties | |
| Description | Lets you enter a brief description. Click to open a text editor where you can enter a longer description. |
| File Reference Subcase Id | Sets the subcase ID that corresponds to a subcase in an external result file, such as an HDF5 file. When you do not specify a value, the software uses subcase ID 1. |
| Forcing Frequencies | |
| Appears when Solution Type is set to Modal Acoustic Transfer Vector (MATV) Response, Acoustic Transfer Vector (ATV) Response, or Inverse Numerical Acoustics in the Solution dialog box. | |
| Forcing Frequencies | Lets you create a Forcing Frequencies modeling object to specify the forcing frequencies for the computation.Click Create Forcing Frequencies or Edit Forcing Frequencies to open the Modeling Objects Manager dialog box where you can add a new Forcing Frequencies modeling object or edit an existing one.For more information, see Define forcing frequencies (Acoustics BEM). |
| Regularization | |
| Appears when Solution Type is set to Inverse Numerical Acoustics in the Solution dialog box. | |
| Regularization | Specifies the regularization method and parameters for the solution.Select an existing regularization modeling object from the list or click Create Modeling Object to create a new modeling object.Click Edit to edit the selected modeling object. |
