Model Using Superelement
Superelement Selection Method Lets you choose the method to load the superelement to recover.File and NameLets you load the superelement to recover from an external file.In Current SessionLets you select the superelement to recover from within the current model.
The following options appear when Superelement Selection Method is set to File and Name.
File Name Using Superelement Lets you select the results file (Simcenter Samcef *.des file) that contains the results of the solution that use the superelement you want to recover.Type a path and file name or click Browse to browse to the location.
Samcef Superelement Name As the solution you point to with File Name Using Superelement property may contain several superelements, you need to provide the exact name of the superelement to recover.
Superelement Creation File Lets you select the creation database file (Simcenter Samcef *.sdb file) that contains the creation model of the superelement you want to recover.Type a path and file name or click Browse to browse to the location.
The following options appear when Superelement Selection Method is set to In Current Session.
Select Superelement Lets you select in your model the FEM containing the superelement you want to recover.
Solution Using the Superelement Lets you select the solution that uses the superelement you want to recover. Valid solutions are Linear Static Analysis, Nonlinear Analysis, Modal Analysis, Linear Transient Response Analysis, and Linear Harmonic Response Analysis for Structural or Axisymmetric and Other 2D Structural analyses.
Output Requests
You can use the List of Results References table to filter the analysis steps to recover at. If you performed one of the following analyses when using the superelement, you can select the following:For Modal Analysis, select vibration modes. For Linear Static Analysis, select loadcases. For Nonlinear Analysis, select times. For Linear Transient Response Analysis, select time steps. For Linear Harmonic Response Analysis, select frequency steps. To add all of the results to the solution, click Add All.To remove all of the results from the solution, click Remove All.To remove individual results from the solution, select one more results and click Remove.
