Aero Body dialog box

Mesh Name
Mesh Name Lets you specify a name for the mesh.
Options
Interference Group ID Lets you specify the ID of the group that contains coupled elements at the interference locations between the aerodynamic panel and body.
Leading Point of the Body
Specify Point 1 Lets you select or create a point in the aerodynamic coordinate system to define the start of the aerodynamic and interference bodies. This point represents the nose of the fuselage.
Dimension
Length of Body 1-2 Lets you specify the length of the aerodynamic and interference bodies in the x direction of the aerodynamic coordinate system.
Body Element Divisions****Interference Element Divisions
Method Specifies the method that the software uses to create elements along the length of the aerodynamic body and along the interference body.Note: For each Aero Body primitive, you must specify at least two elements along the body and at least one element on the interference body.Number of ElementsLets you specify the number of elements to create along the length of the body.BiasLets you specify the number of elements to create along the length of the body and a bias ratio to control the spacing between the elements.List DivisionsLets you specify a custom set of division points along the length of the body. Enter these point values in the text box. The values must be between 0.0 and 1.0 and must include 0.0 and 1.0 to create a valid mesh.
Number of Elements Available if Method is set to Number of Elements or Bias.Specifies the number of elements to create along the length of the body.
Bias Ratio Available if Method is set to Bias.Specifies the bias ratio to use along the body. If you specify a value of 3, for example, the elements at the center of the body will be approximately 3x as long as the elements at the ends of the body.
Divisions Available if Method is set to List Divisions.Lets you specify a custom set of division points along the body. Enter these point values in the text box. The values must be between 0.0 and 1.0 and must include 0.0 and 1.0 to create a valid mesh.
Element Label
Element Label Lets you specify a starting element label value for the elements on the body.
Destination Collector
Automatic Creation Select the Automatic Creation check box to have the software automatically create a new destination collector for the current mesh. If you select this option, the software creates a collector using the default physical properties and inherits the material properties of the idealized part.Clear the Automatic Creation check box to choose an existing mesh collector from the Mesh Collector list.
Mesh Collector Lets you select an existing collector. Click New Collector to use the Mesh Collector dialog box to create additional mesh collectors. For more information, see Mesh collectors.
Global Aero CSYS
Global Aero CSYS Sets the coordinate system to use for the aero analysis.
Preview
Preview When you select this check box, the software automatically previews the appearance of the aerodynamic body when you specify the options necessary to define the mesh primitive.
Show Result Click Show Result to preview the mesh based on your current selections.
