Select connected polygon edges

Use the Connected Edges selection method when you need to select connected polygon edges, for example, when you a define a region for edge-to-edge contact.

1. On the scene toolbar, from the Method list, select Connected Edges.The Type Filter is automatically set to Polygon Edge.

2. Click Smart Selector Options to specify other options, such as Prefer Free Edges.

3. Select an edge near the start of the connected edges that you want to select. An arrow shows where you can select next.

4. Move the mouse over nearby edges in the direction of the arrow. The software highlights edges that fit the selection criteria.

5. Click to select the connected edges.
