Create 2D and 3D laminates from existing laminates
The Copy as Solid Laminate and Copy as Shell Laminate commands are supported only in Simcenter Nastran and Abaqus solver environments.
Copy a 2D laminate physical property to a 3D laminate physical property
This example shows how to create a 3D laminate with a Solid Laminate physical property type by copying a 2D laminate with a Laminate physical property type.
Choose Home tab→Properties group→Physical Properties .The Physical Property Tables Manager dialog box is displayed.
In the Selection group, select the 2D laminate physical property that you want to copy.
Right-click the laminate property and choose Copy as Solid Laminate.
Copy a 3D laminate physical property to a 2D laminate physical property
This example shows how to create a 2D laminate with a Laminate physical property type by copying a 3D laminate with a Solid Laminate physical property type.
