High Frequency model options
The following table describes the options you use to define electromagnetic properties for isotropic materials supported by the electromagnetic solutions. These options are available on the Isotropic Material dialog box, Electromagnetic page, when you set Model to High Frequency.
For detailed information about defining electromagnetic material properties, see your electromagnetic solver documentation.
| Electrical Properties | |
|---|---|
| Specifies model type-dependent dielectric material properties. | |
| High Frequency Model | Specifies the high frequency model type.Note: Although both property groups Electrical Properties and Magnetic Properties list the same model types, you must choose the model type separately for the electrical and magnetic properties.Const+SigmaLets you specify Electrical Conductivity and Relative Electric Permittivity.Debye 1st OrderLets you specify Relative Permittivity at Infinity, Relative Permittivity at Zero, and Relaxation Time (T0).Drude 1st OrderLets you specify Radiant Plasma Frequency (Omega-p) and Collision Frequency (Ni-c).LorentzLets you specify Relative Permittivity at Infinity, Relative Permittivity at Zero, Resonant Frequency (Omega-p), and Damping Coefficient (Delta P).Multiple FrequencyLets you specify Relative Electric Permittivity.Multiple PolesLets you specify Relative Permittivity at Infinity, Relative Permittivity at Zero, Weight Parameter (Gp), Resonant Frequency (Omega-p), and Damping Coefficient (Delta P). |
| Electrical Conductivity | Available when High Frequency Model is set to Const+Sigma.Specifies a constant value, or when you click , lets you specify temperature-dependent values with a table or formula field. For more information, see Additional magnitude options. |
