Define a reference plane location

Set the Reference Plane Location to offset your ply layup, or to make sure that your ply layup is symmetric.

There are 4 options in the Reference Plane Location list:

  1. Top

  2. Middle (default)

  3. Bottom

  4. Specify

The Specify option allows you to enter an arbitrary value in the Bottom Fiber Distance box.

Note:

The default value in the Bottom Fiber Distance box is 0.
