Initial Position dialog box (Simcenter Samcef)

| Name | Sets the name of the initial position condition that appears in the Simulation Navigator under the Simulation Objects Container node. |
| Description | Sets the description. |
| Destination Folder | |
| Simulation Objects Container | Specifies the folder in the Simulation Navigator in which the initial position condition will be stored. The list includes the root container and existing folders that you created using the New Folder command. |
| Model Objects to Assign Temperature On | |
| Group Reference | Lets you apply the initial position to a group.For more information, see Group Reference options. |
| Select Object | Lets you select the objects on which the initial position will be applied. |
| Stacked Smart Selector Methods | Opens the Smart Selector Methods dialog box where you can specify a progression of smart selection filters.For more information, see Smart Selector Methods dialog box. |
| Excluded | Lets you remove individual entities from within your selected object. |

| Card Name | Displays the name of the solver card this object writes to: .CLM DEI. |
